More and more people need to become proficient at English and it’s an exciting time for language teaching and learning.
🎒 School children and students around the world study hard to pass their exams and create a positive future.
🎓 Teachers and trainers have to constantly update their language and communication skills
💼 Business professionals need English for international meetings and to improve their career prospects
🛩 And regular people are learning just for pleasure or to communicate with others when they travel
The Problem
Unfortunately, here in France, where I have lived and taught English for over 20 years, language learning is not looking good. And in Spain which I also know well, it’s not much better!
In serious studies of foreign language skills in European countries, France regularly comes almost last. Only my home country, Britain, is worse!
There are several reasons for this, but one major factor has to be the national education systems and the methods used in countries with poor foreign language skills.
The problem is that in countries like France and Belgium, traditional teaching methods are so entrenched that it is very difficult to introduce more effective methods, Countries like Finland and Sweden have consistantly shown that more personalised, visual approaches really do produce excellent results.
It’s a real shame, because if here are modern teaching techniques which are shown to be extremely effective – and are extensively used by countries near the top of the language learning tables like Finland and Sweden –
The Solution
You will participate in the development of new learning techniques in schools. The aim is also to create a network of people, professional or not, who could exchange experiences and contribute in their own way, to the project. We will do our best to make you get maximum benefits you provide concrete assistance according to your needs and invite you to meetings or interesting events.
The fee is €20 per year (payment date). Your only real requirement is to have an attitude that does not harm the interests of the association.

Vous participerez au développement de nouvelles techniques d’apprentissage dans les écoles. L’objectif est également de créer un réseau de personnes, professionnelles ou non, qui pourraient échanger leurs expériences et contribuer, à leur manière, au projet. Nous ferons de notre mieux pour vous faire bénéficier d’un maximum d’avantages, vous apporter une aide concrète en fonction de vos besoins et vous convier à des rencontres ou des événements intéressants.
La cotisation est fixée à 25€ par an (date de paiement). Votre seule vraie obligation est d’avoir une attitude qui ne nuit pas aux intérêts de l’association.
